Winds and warmth model region FWLK

The unique nationwide pilot project „Winds and warmth model region Friedrich-Wilhelm-Lübke-Koog“ has finally been concluded. After a term of two years a positive balance was drawn by all participants and the final presentation ended with only positive results. „This model project shows how the transition from fossil to green technologies can succeed“ said Stephan Frense, CEO Arge Netz. We´re happy to have contributed to this nearby pioneering project.

The project was initiated by the Arge Netz, Husum, the Civil Wind Farm Lübke-Koog, the commune of Friedrich-Wilhelm-Lübke-Koog and the Institute of Warmth and Mobility (IWO), Hamburg. The European Agricultur Fund for Rural Development and other provided subsidies.
